# Celebration Bar Review

> Celebration Bar Review is an online bar exam preparation and coaching program founded by Jackson Mumey in 1993. It specializes in repeat takers, working professionals, parents, and foreign-trained attorneys. Instead of a one-size-fits-all study plan, every student starts with a diagnosis of the specific blocker costing them points, then gets a personal plan and one-on-one coaching from Jackson. Courses cover the UBE, California, Florida, Georgia, and the NextGen bar exam.

## Who it is for

- Repeat takers who have failed the bar once or more, often after using a large commercial course
- First-time takers who want a personalized plan
- Foreign-trained attorneys preparing for a U.S. bar exam
- Working professionals and parents with limited study hours (most students study about 20 hours a week or less)

## The approach: three blockers

After 35 years of coaching, Jackson Mumey finds that almost every bar taker who doesn't pass is stuck on one of three blockers:

1. **MBE strategy:** the student knows the rules but misses the trigger fact that decides which rule applies, or falls for trap answers. Fixed with pattern work, not more questions.
2. **Essay writing:** the student retells the facts and announces a conclusion instead of analyzing element by element. Fixed with a structure that ties every fact to a rule element.
3. **Time management and overwhelm:** long hours spent on passive review with no clear priorities. Fixed by ranking subjects by exam weight and personal weakness, capping passive review, and tracking outputs instead of hours.

Usually one blocker is the cause and the others are side effects. Finding which is which is the purpose of the free strategy call.
